In this compelling French comedy, Baya Benmahmoud is a young woman of Algerian descent who lives by the motto "make love, not war"—literally. By sleeping with her political enemies, she hopes to convert them to liberals.

But with so many conservatives around, she has a lot of work to do. Enter a 40-ish Jewish scientist with a very common French name—Arthur Martin. Surely he has to be a real conservative, and so she makes him her special project.

But names and attitudes can be tricky—maybe he isn't actually the enemy. Are they really so different? Can an Arab-Jewish couple survive? A fun romp through contemporary French society.
